Market Booth Manager Position

Open Position: Farmers Market Booth Manager

Pay: $18/hour
Location: Frankfort Farmers Market
Schedule: Saturdays
Hours: Approximately 4.5-5 hours each Saturday

About the Role

Oak & Barrel Meats is looking for a reliable, friendly person to manage our booth at the Frankfort Farmers Market on Saturdays.

You’ll be the face of the farm at market, helping customers, answering basic questions about our products and making sure the booth runs smoothly from setup through breakdown.

This is a good fit for someone who enjoys talking with people, staying organized and taking ownership of a consistent weekly responsibility.

What the Job Looks Like

• Arrive at the Frankfort Farmers Market around 7:30 AM
• Set up the booth using the product, coolers and supplies provided on-site
• Run the booth during market hours, from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
• Talk with customers and help them choose cuts
• Handle cash and card sales using Shopify POS, with training provided
• Keep track of inventory throughout the market
• Pack remaining product and supplies at the end of market
• Stay until the product and equipment are picked up after market

You will not need to load product at the farm or transport coolers to and from market.

• Reliable and punctual
• Friendly and comfortable talking with customers
• Organized and able to keep track of sales and inventory
• Comfortable working independently
• Able to lift coolers weighing approximately 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation to and from the Frankfort Farmers Market

Compensation

• $18 per hour
• Sales-based incentive
• Opportunities for additional seasonal work may be available depending on interest and fit

Commitment

We’re looking for someone who can consistently work Saturday mornings throughout the market season.

Reliability is especially important. Customers come to expect us each week and this role is an important part of maintaining that trust.
