All About Bulk Purchases

HOW MUCH MEAT SHOULD I EXPECT TO GET WHEN I MAKE A BULK BEEF PURCHASE

You should expect to get approximately 300lbs of meat for a whole cow. I raise a breed called Red Polls, that tend to be smaller than your average commercial angus beef cow. This makes them more efficient grazers and do much better without unnatural grain inputs.

WHAT IS THE COST PER POUND?

The cost for a whole cow is approximately $6.65/lb including processing. This cost includes premium cuts like NY Steaks, Filet and Ribeye as well as much loved classics like Chuck Roasts, Briskets and Ground. You also get the benefit of body healthy extras like tallow, soup bones and any organ meats you want.

WHAT IS THE TOTAL COST OF A WHOLE COW?

Unlike other farmers, I do not charge by the hang or live weight of a cow. Because I know what the average weight my cows are going to be, I charge a flat amount and make sure you get exactly the number of pounds I advertise.

IS THERE A DEPOSIT REQUIRED?

I require a 50% deposit to reserve a bulk cow purchase, $1000 for a whole cow, $500 for a half and $250 for a quarter.

WHAT IS THE STORAGE SPACE REQUIRED FOR WHOLE COW?

You can fit a whole cow in about 12cuft of freezer space.
