One-Pan Cheesy Beef & Rice Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Oak & Barrel Meats ground beef

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup uncooked white rice

  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes (with juices)

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.

  2. Add flavor: Stir in diced onion and garlic; cook until softened, about 3–4 minutes.

  3. Add rice and liquid: Stir in uncooked rice, diced tomatoes, beef broth, salt, pepper, and paprika. Bring to a boil.

  4. Simmer: Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 18–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

  5. Add cheese: Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar until melted and creamy.

  6. Garnish & serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired.
